Not the tallest Saanen around, but extremely correct in feet and legs and great depth of body and topline. She has been many times BDIS, BUIS & GCH. As a  younger doe, she even defeated the national GCH "Some Plum" for best udder once.

In 2000 at age 12, Rapture was  BOB under Diane Heaney at the Newport Fair, 1st aged doe at Lane County Fair and GCH at Benton Fair under Chris Strickland! This photo was taken when she was 11 years old and GCH at Benton Fair.

Star was  BUIS at Benton County fair under Chris Strickland in 2000! She has been a competitive doe for us, winning many RGCH's and a couple GCH's ( of which only one was official ). She is sound and has a real nice udder, especially in the rear. I would like to see her sharper and more elegant.

GCH Flyaway Intel 3*M  2-10-1996

 We only got to show her twice in 2000 due to a late freshening and she was GCH and BOB at the Lane County Fair under Diane Heaney and then 3rd in a very competitive class at State Fair! She is improved over her dam in the shoulders and also has a more pleasing shape to her udder, although I would like to see the teats smaller. She was 3 x 1st, 2x GCH & 2x BDIS in 2001 to finish her GCH. Intel finally kidded in September of 2002, far too late for any shows and then did not freshen in 2003.  Only shown once this season she was GCH.

Flyaway Winter Dream 2*M  1-23-1997, purebred

Winter was GCH at the Newport Fair under Diane Heaney and then second in a large class at State Fair in 2000! A couple of unofficial RGCH's in 2002.
She is maturing into a very deep bodied doe and the udder has a beautiful wide rear. 

Flyaway O Winter Fantazee      white, 3-7-2003   SOLD

Fantazee was  2xJCH and 1X RJCH in 2003 and has freshened extremely well. She has been 1x1st and 1x2nd the only times shown in 2006. She was bred to Voyager and had a single doe "AMARYLLIS" which will be retained

Emrys has at least 1 GCH daughter and has a son in the Midwest who is a successful herd sire. He was ranked #1 on the type index as a young sire. We are pleased with the daughters we have from him this year. See Shasta, Pentium, Sequel, Fog, Mosaic & Clover. He is very tall and sharp. I would like to see him wider in the front end, but he does not seem to throw this.

Emrys bred Moniqua & Sequel before joining Carol Mann's Old English herd.

Thanks to Lisa and Liv Shepard for this fine young fellow and for the use of their pictures! Orizaba has an outstanding pedigree and we used him on all of our does for 2 Seasons!  Catalina is a wonderful doe that is still showing and milking well as an aged doe. Zaba has a full brother (Billy Corrigan) that is siring many nice animals, as well as full sisters that are showing well and as a bonus he was the number one buck on the young sire summary this last summer. What more could I ask for? His first milking daughter has an extremely nice udder - see Fantazee

Thank you Peggy Sanford for this handsome young buck with an outstanding disposition and beautiful eyes! I haven't gotten many Sonoma daughters and none are in milk yet, but I do like what I see so far. We have collected Sonoma and he is being bred to some of the minis before he leaves for his new home this fall. Thank you Jean Kennedy!
