*B Erin-Go-Bragh LB Bonanza 4-15-2002 Correct Oberhasli coloring DECEASED Bonanza is a full brother to the 2002 National GCH and Best Udder "Treetop-Acres Bonet's Bebe" (pictured below, photo courtesy of Amy O'reilly-Akramoff) Bonet was a wonderful older doe that reminded me a lot of Esprit, she was GCH and best udder over her Nat'l GCH daughter at the 2002 Oregon State Fair. I had the pleasure of showing her for Amy and I was very pleased to have the opportunity to add Bonanza to my herd! Bonanza semen is available now, 5/$150
Bonanza became the cornerstone of our Oberhasli herd and sired some very nice daughters for us. Espresso, Grace, Sprite, Spirit, Tessa and Sassafras all have lovely udders and I am sure many of the upcoming kids will also. Offspring are all extremely uniform with long bodies, level top lines, great dairy character and good rear leg angle. Occasionally his daughters have had spread toes and can be out at the elbow, but the udders can't be beat!
Ludwig's Mohawk Ro'jo Red 3-28-04 - dark bay DECEASED We got Rojo to use on the Bonanza daughters. He is a refined, correctly built buck. His only fresh daughter "Licorice Whip" turned out quite nicely. He also has some very nice mini kids in Cheryl Smith's Mystic Acres herd. We have 2 more kids from him this year that we are quite pleased with and he will again be bred to most of the does this fall. His dam Flash is pictured below left, she finished her CH this year as a 7 year old! His GDam Nutmeg pictured on right.

Flyaway EB Espresso 3-2003 - 75% Grade, correct coloring - Deceased

I sure liked this doe before she managed to break her right rear leg as a kid. I didn't get it set very well, so I expected that she would never make a good show doe. Thus far it has not really hindered her placements much although the right rear legs turns out quite a bit. She has an excellent udder and has placed first and second the two times shown.

Ober-D'Rainbow PDR Rocquel 1-26 -02 American, Correct coloring SOLD
Rocquel came to us from our friend Suzanne Strong. She has a very pleasing mammary, having great attachment with very good teat placement and an especially nice wide fore udder. She also has a long elegant neck, with good width both front and rear, and nice straight legs. Thank you Suzanne & Jim! Please excuse the unflattering picture, she really didn't want to co-operate, as you can tell from her expression.
Rocquel was RGCH at the 2005 Newport Fair and first place 3 yr old at 2005 Oregon State Fair

Sprite has been steadily improving all summer.
I thought her udder was just ok in the beginning, but she just continues to get better each week. She was first or second
every time shown as a dry and was 1st the only time shown in 06. I am looking forward
getting her out in 2007!

Brysher Farms J Tessa 5-5-04 American, Correct coloring SOLD
Tessa is a recent addition from our friends Bryan and Sherrie Wesley. She missed getting bred last year, so will be a first freshening 3 year old in 2007. She is a maternal sister to Rocquel and a daughter of Bonanza, so we are expecting her to have a really great mammary system as well as a good body. Her dam was quite small, but Tessa has had plenty of time to grow and is a good size doe. She is long necked with a pretty head, with good width both front and rear, and nice straight topline. Her mammary has come in well attached all around, small teats and could be slightly fuller in the top of the rear udder. As expected her udder just continued to improve and fill with milk. Sold before show season, but I believe she would have been a solid show doe.
